Bhramari, Bee Breath
how to do it, step by step
Bhramari, or bee breath, is a yoga breathing practice in which you exhale slowly while making a soft humming sound. The hum naturally lengthens the exhale and many people find the vibration soothing.
How to do it
- Sit or lie down comfortably and let your shoulders drop.
- Inhale: 4 s.
- Humming exhale: 8 s.
- Repeat the cycle 7 times (the timer counts for you).
- When you finish, return to natural breathing for a few seconds and notice how you feel.
